Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of autistic youth? Do you have the skills and drive to lead engaging, impactful training sessions? If so, we invite you to join us in an exciting opportunity to become a Trainer for the ACTIVATE Autistic Advocacy School.

As part of the ACTIVATE project supported by Erasmus+, we’re on the lookout for five Trainers to help us build a advocacy and education program designed for and with the autistic community. We’re seeking individuals from both the Czech Republic (two trainers) and across Europe (3 more trainers).

What is the Trainer Role About?
Our Trainers are crucial players in the ACTIVATE project. They will lead training sessions for youth workers and advocates, equipping them with the tools to support autistic advocacy and personal empowerment effectively. As a Trainer, you’ll guide participants through curriculum modules, helping them gain practical skills in supporting autistic youth and fostering safe, inclusive learning environments.

Each Trainer’s primary tasks include:

  • Facilitating training sessions focused on different aspects of autistic advocacy and empowerment.
  • Delivering engaging, hands-on learning experiences to inspire the next generation of autism advocates.
  • Collaborating with fellow trainers to create a cohesive and supportive learning journey.
  • Providing feedback and assessment to ensure the curriculum aligns with the needs of our community.

Ideal Profile for a Trainer Candidate

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Have experience in training, education, or youth work, ideally with a focus on autism or neurodiversity.
  • Are strong communicators, both in group settings and individually, with an inclusive and adaptable approach.
  • Hold a background or interest in advocacy, particularly for neurodivergent populations.
  • Are committed to continuous learning and improving practices based on participant feedback
If you’re driven by a desire to make a real impact, this role is for you!

What’s in it for You?
Becoming a Trainer with ACTIVATE means you’ll be part of a groundbreaking movement in autistic advocacy and education. This role offers you a chance to:

  • Shape the future of autism advocacy by training other educators and youth workers.
  • Expand your professional skills in a meaningful, supportive environment.
  • Network with passionate individuals from across Europe and contribute to a valuable international project.
  • You’ll be provided with all the resources needed, including a full curriculum, support materials, and guidance from our project team. Additionally, ACTIVATE covers necessary expenses related to your own training, ensuring you can focus on delivering the best training experience possible.
